Opening Hours
Singapore Zoo and Wildlife Reserves are open daily from 8:30am to 6:00pm. The ticketing counter is open from 8:30am until 5:30pm every day. The Night Safari opens at 7:30pm until 12:00 midnight, with the ticketing counter operating from 5:30pm until 11:15pm.

ESPLANADE – THEATRES ON THE BAY
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is without a doubt, Singapore's most exciting performance arts venue. Located at the waterfront overlooking Marina Bay, the complex with its distinctive dome-shaped roofs comprises a 1,600-seat concert hall, a 2,000-seat theatre and several recital rooms, theatre and rehearsal studios, as well as outdoor performing spaces. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SINGAPORE
With a rich history dating back to its inception in 1887, the National Museum of Singapore is Singapore's oldest museum with the youngest and most innovative soul. A cultural and architectural icon in Singapore, the Museum hosts vibrant festivals and events all year round, as well as amazing performances and film screenings.
SINGAPORE ART MUSEUM
The Singapore Art Museum boasts a collection of over 7,000 contemporary and modern art pieces from Singaporean and South East Asian artists. The museum’s extension building, SAM at 8Q was opened in 2008, expanding the museum’s contemporary art space. Art pieces range from painting, sculpture and installation to film & video, performance and sound art.
GARDENS BY THE BAY
Spanning 101 hectares, this $1 billion superpark houses over a quarter of a million rare plants. The park comprises three gardens; Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. From the waterfront promenade, enjoy an amazing view of the Marina Bay financial district skyline. The grounds are perfect for an evening stroll and picnic with family and friends.
ARAB STREET
Famed for its silk and basketry, and resonating with tradition, Arab Street is one of the highlights of Kampong Glam. Cane, straw, rattan and a spectrum of fabrics comprising silk, chiffon, cotton and batik can be found on Arab Street. One of the most significant buildings in the district is the Sultan Mosque, which was built in 1824.
BOTANICAL GARDENS
Singapore epitomizes the tropical island’s luxuriant parks - a combination of primary jungle and elegantly laid out flower beds and shrubs. Spread over 52 hectares, the gardens contain nearly 4,000 species of plant life, with many rare specimens amongst them. The Botanical Gardens are also home to the National Orchid Gardens, hailed as the world’s largest orchid display featuring over 60,000 plants and orchids. Situated at the highest point of the National Orchid Garden is Burkill Hall, a colonial bungalow built in 1886. Named as one of Singapore’s monuments of architectural and historical interest, this British colonial house has been renovated for use as a VIP reception and events hall.
CLUB STREET
Located in Chinatown, Club Street is lined with conserved shophouses that are now occupied by restaurants, bars, and galleries. Popular spots in the area include Club Street Social, Senso Ristorante and Bar, and Esquina.
LAU PA SAT
Situated right at the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD). It was built in 1894 and is the largest remaining Victorian filigree cast-iron structure in Southeast Asia. During the night, the whole stretch of Boon Tat street south of the Lau Pa Sat is blocked to give way for an open air hawker concept, with a large array of barbequed food choices.
BOAT QUAY
Experience the jewel of Singapore’s entertainment scene. With an eclectic mix of high-end restaurants, alfresco dining and lively bars and pubs, the Boat Quay is a favorite “chill out” spot for many professionals and expatriates.
CLARKE QUAY
Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay in Singapore, located upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River and Boat Quay. The center of commercial enterprise in the late 19th century, the restored warehouse now features a whole range of restaurants, wine bars, entertainment spots and retail shops.
HORT PARK
Billed as Singapore’s one-stop gardening hub, Hort Park sits on a lush 23-hectare area. The park connects Kent Ridge Park all the way to Telok Blangah Park, and brings together recreation, education, research, retail and gardening in one setting. Home to beautiful plant life, Hort Park is also a place where garden designs can be displayed.The Butterfly Garden and the Bamboo Labyrinth are just two of the many attractions the park has, in addition to the Recycling Garden and the Floral Walk.
JURONG BIRD PARK
The largest bird sanctuary in Southeast Asia is well-known for its collection of 8,000 birds from more than 600 species, its conservation and breeding programmes, as well as its fascinating walk-in, free-flight aviaries. The Bird Park also features the world’s tallest constructed waterfall, one of the world’s largest collections of hornbills and a delightful restaurant situated next to a lake teeming with flamingos.
LABRADOR NATURE RESERVE
Explore the rocky cliff-side vegetation and enjoy the panoramic views of the sea at Labrador Nature Reserve. This park is an oasis of calm and a tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. A leisurely stroll along one of the nature trails affords a peek of some of the 50 bird species and 11 butterfly species that have made the park their home.
MAKANSUTRA GLUTTONS BAY
Surrounded by retro-inspired push-carts and offering a spectacular view of the Marina Bay skyline, this open-air, moon-lit food centre is a hotspot for visitors and the sleepless in Singapore. Take your pick from a wide range of famous local treats such as fried carrot cake, oyster omelette, chilli crab and roti jala (lacy pancakes served with delicious curry). Also enjoy an ice-cold glass of beer while watching free street performances frequently organized by arts centre Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, located just next door.
MARINA BAY SANDS INTEGRATED RESORT
A short scenic stroll across the Helix Bridge, a 280-metre pedestrian walkway - is the Marina Bay Sands Integrated resort. It features a casino, luxury hotel, convention facilities, theatres and shopping and dining options.
NEWTON HAWKER CENTRE
With a multitude of food and drink stalls, a visit to Newton Hawker Centre is the best way to sample a wide variety of local dishes. Try an array of local favourites such as chicken rice, bak kut teh and roti prata. Cool down afterward with a bowl of ice kachang or chendol, desserts made of shaved ice flavoured with coconut milk and other sweet syrups.
ROBERTSON QUAY
The most laidback of the three quays along the Singapore River, this largely residential estate has become a real entertainment enclave with bars, restaurants, cafés, performing arts houses and art galleries. The area also houses The Singapore Tyler Print Institute, which has free print and paper art installations. One of Singapore’s most progressive theatre companies, TheatreWorks, is nearby, as is the Singapore Repertory Theatre.
SINGAPORE FLYER
Singapore Flyer is the world's largest observation wheel. Standing at a stunning 165m from the ground, the Flyer offers breathtaking, panoramic views of the Marina Bay, Singapore’s cityscape and beyond. There is also a wide range of shops, restaurants, activities and facilities.
ZOUK
Probably Singapore’s only nightspot of international repute, Zouk remains both an institution and a rite of passage for young people in the city-state. It has spawned several other clubs in neighbouring countries like Malaysia, and even has its own dance festival – Sentosa’s ZoukOut. Zouk is made up of three clubs and a wine bar, and it has played host to international DJs, from Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold to the Chemical Brothers. Zouk also holds its famous Mambo Jambo retro nights on Wednesdays.
